Affiliations

Dr. Vo is an optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He’s also an active member of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society.

Education and Experiences

Dr. Vo originally grew up in Vietnam and then moved to Lewisville, Texas at the age of 15. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated Cum Laude with a double major in biology and business administration. Dr. Vo then received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He completed clinical externships at the Northeastern State University College of Optometry and Casa De Amigos Health Center.

With his exceptional training and educational experience, Dr. Vo provides comprehensive eye care services to his patients. In addition to his ocular disease specialization, Dr. Vo has extensive training in pre- and post-operative management of cataract surgery, refractive vision correction, and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) patients. He also excels in contact lens fittings for everything from soft contacts to rigid gas permeable (RGP) and scleral lenses, and managing dry eye and ocular surface diseases.

Dedication to Service

Dr. Vo has participated in various community service projects and particularly enjoyed performing numerous vision screenings at The Special Olympics in Fort Worth, Vietnamese Evangelical Baptist Church in Carrollton, and assisting on a few medical mission trips in Guerrero, Mexico.

Patient Care

Dr. Vo is dedicated to dramatically improving patients’ quality of life through personalizing treatment, providing relief, and finding unique ways to make a difference in their lives. He is also fluent in Vietnamese and clinically proficient in Spanish, making him a valuable provider for patients of many backgrounds.

Family and Hobbies

Outside of the office, Dr. Vo enjoys spending time with friends and family. He and his wife just celebrated their first baby boy born in the family to join their two fur babies . In his leisure time, he trains hard to maximize his VO2 Max and muscle mass. After diving in the deep ocean of Maldives, he and his wife develop a passion for scuba diving and so far have explored various wonders of the aquatic kingdom such as Tahiti, Hawaii, Belize, Cozumel.
