Dr. Taj Nasser attended East Carolina University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Noticing the many similarities between Spanish and his native Arabic language, he enjoyed completing a minor in Hispanic studies. He continued his training at ECU where he received his medical degree with a distinction in health system transformation and leadership. He then moved to New Orleans to complete his Ophthalmology residency where he was selected as chief resident for his medical education initiatives and leadership. Dr. Nasser’s interest in process improvement and high-quality, patient-centered care drew him to an interest in specializing in refractive surgery. Born in a small village in Yemen, he is passionate about serving the global community, where he has participated in multiple surgical eye mission trips to Mexico. A Marvel fan, when he is not caring for patients you will see him rewatching MCU.
Dr. Vo is an optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He’s also an active member of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society.
Dr. Vo originally grew up in Vietnam and then moved to Lewisville, Texas at the age of 15. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated Cum Laude with a double major in biology and business administration. Dr. Vo then received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He completed clinical externships at the Northeastern State University College of Optometry and Casa De Amigos Health Center.
With his exceptional training and educational experience, Dr. Vo provides comprehensive eye care services to his patients. In addition to his ocular disease specialization, Dr. Vo has extensive training in pre- and post-operative management of cataract surgery, refractive vision correction, and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) patients. He also excels in contact lens fittings for everything from soft contacts to rigid gas permeable (RGP) and scleral lenses, and managing dry eye and ocular surface diseases.
Dr. Hayes is a highly experienced optometrist based in Plano-Mckinney Texas, with over 20 years of expertise in managing LASIK and cataract pre- and post-operative care. Dr. Hayes completed undergraduate studies in microcellular biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Hayes then earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry.
With extensive training in LASIK, PRK, and refractive surgeries, including cataract surgery, Dr. Hayes has become a trusted name in the field. Having personally undergone LASIK and cataract surgery, Dr. Hayes brings a unique perspective and deep empathy to patient care.

Dr. Gary Tylock, M.D. is recognized as a leading LASIK and Cataract surgeon, and founder of Tylock-George Eye Care in 1986. Dr. Tylock is now retired from Tylock-George Eye Care, but continues his work using his expertise in Refractive Surgery to consult for many large medical corporations in their technology review and marketing divisions. Dr. Tylock was one of the first LASIK doctors to use Contoura Vision in Texas to help usher in a new era of LASIK technology. He was a tenured professor at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and continues to draw on his huge reputation as a patient’s choice Best LASIK Surgeon by D Magazine for 10 years in a row.
Dr. Lema Sbenaty is a dedicated optometric physician at Tylock-George Eye Care, where she combines her extensive training and passion for patient care to make a meaningful impact in the field of optometry.
Dr. Sbenaty began her academic journey at Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. This foundation in the sciences ignited her curiosity about the complexities of the human body and ultimately led her to pursue a Doctor of Optometry degree at the prestigious University of Alabama Birmingham’s School of Optometry.
